The 2010 Rocky Mountain Sieger is one of the top international dog shows in the region. Multiple awards will be received for dogs at The Ranch, including Group Selection, Best Bred-by In Show Rules, Gold Cup, Best Rare Breed in Show and Best Veteran in Show.

There will be a variety of vintage classics on the list including early generation Chevy Camero’s ranging from 1967-1969, and almost fifty custom Chevy convertible hot rods. This auction will also feature Ford Mustangs from the mid 1960’s, and highlight the Chrysler Town and Country.

Home Instruction Ministries (HIM) and Probasco’s Christian Book Store invite the Northern Colorado Community to the 2010 Spring Curriculum Fair. HIM is an enterprise dedicated to providing home educators of all backgrounds. The program plays as a yearly resource for textbooks and up-to-date home education curriculums.

Ranch-Way Feeds East Pavilion

Colorado State University would like to extend an invitation for the annual CSU Cattle Show. Saturday will be a Showmanship evening while Sunday is the Breed and Market show. The nationally recognized CSU livestock judging team will be there to make sure all livestock is judged properly. The CSU Cattle Show is always FREE to the public, and welcomes families in the Northern Colorado community.

4-H CARNIVAL

March 20, 2010

Ranch-Way Feeds West Pavilion

Support local 4-H groups and the foundation at the 4-H Carnival later this month. There will be a Craft Show, Bake Shop, and Live Auction. Kids of all ages can play games, win prizes, eat delicious food and learn more about 4-H in Northern Colorado. Tickets for this event are $1 at the door. Proceeds benefit 4-H kids with conferences, state and local competitions, and scholarships.

The Alzheimer’s Association brings the breakfast fundraiser, ‘Reason for Hope Breakfast’ with all proceeds benefitting patients with Alzheimer’s. The breakfast is purely donation based, with hopes this will be the most successful year. Support the Alzheimer’s Association and the Northern Colorado community by participating at The Ranch in Loveland.

Some of the nation’s finest swine will be at The Ranch for a one day auction. The swine will have a public pre-showing from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Sale of Champions – Pig Sale is always free to the public and family friendly.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN FLYBALL TOURNAMENT

March 26 – March 28, 2010

7 a.m. – 10 p.m. All Days

The Rocky Mountain Flyball Tournament will be taking place in the McKee Exhibition Hall at the end of the month. There is no charge for parking or entrance. Relay style races, and fun obstacle courses will be held for your K-9 friends. This event is open to the public and dog enthusiasts everywhere.

The Budweiser Events Center and Larimer County Fairgrounds is the main events location in Northern Colorado. Located just east of  I-25 and one mile north of the highway 34 intersection. The easiest access from the freeway is from the Crossroads Boulevard exit.

The events center is home to Eagles Hockey and ICE Football as well as playing host to the biggest entertainers and special shows in America. You name a nationally regonized entertainer and they have probably played this events center.

The Fairgrounds which sits next to the BUD center is also the home of the Larimer County Fair and Rodeo and Thunder in the Rockies which has been built into one of the largest motorcycle events in the western US.

Although when the events center was first built it sat all alone in the middle of a large empty agricultural area but now it is surrounded by the Centerra development which includes a new hospital, new shopping mall, hotels and restaurants. This area is now one of the busiest places in Northern Colorado for things to do.
